MICHR Funding Opportunity: Round 2 of Promoting Academics and Community Engagement (PACE) Dissemination Grant

Are you a community partner who recently completed a project in collaboration with an academic researcher? Are you an academic researcher who recently completed a study in collaboration with a community partner? If so, MICHR’s Community Engagement (CE) Program invites you to apply for the new Promoting Academics and Community Engagement (PACE) dissemination grant. This grant supports community-academic partnerships that are ready to share Community-Engaged Research (CEnR) results back to the community.

For this grant, dissemination is defined as sharing information and research findings back to the communities of interest. To apply, applications must meet the following criteria:

  1. Completed data collection from an academic and community partnered research project;

  2. Analyzed research findings; and

  3. Developed a community-focused dissemination plan.

 

Applicants may request up to $5,000 for a six-month period (with project ending no later than February 29, 2024). Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, August 11, 2023.
