After more than a year of user testing, design, and content creation, MICHR’s new website is now live for investigators to easily find the services their research teams need.

User feedback and changing trends, including a dramatic increase in visitors accessing the site via mobile devices, drove design changes.

“The new site is simple yet sophisticated,” says Communication Specialist Andrea Smith-Ruff, who served as project co-lead. “We’ve made it easy for researchers to find what they need – and perhaps discover something they didn’t know they needed.”

There are several ways to find MICHR services, such as research consultation, education & mentoring, funding & grant support, participant recruitment, regulatory support, and biostatistics. Each service page consistently answers four questions about the service and includes an action button so investigators know what to do next.

MICHR's research resources, including SOPs, templates, and toolkits, are now housed in the companion Resource Center site.
