Members of the U-M community who are involved in or interested in mentoring are invited to a November 29 forum on Culturally Aware Mentorship. During the forum, seven faculty members who contribute enormously to the research environment at U-M will be honored with the 2018 Distinguished Clinical and Translational Research Mentor Award.

Starting in September, MICHR will offer Research Basics training online. Research Basics is currently a three-part series for Study Team members who work in health-related research. The new online portions of this training will soon be freely available, anytime, anywhere with internet access and will be replacing parts of the in-person training.

MICHR is offering a free course for current K-grant awardees, focusing on responsible conduct of research (RCR). This series will help participants identify and address RCR issues in their own research and will satisfy related requirements of the NIH K23 application.
