Community-Engaged Research Funding Opportunities – Winter 2020 Webinar

The Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research (MICHR) is re-opening two funding opportunities that support community-engaged research.

We invite you to learn more about these funding opportunities and MICHR resources that can help during the application process. Join us for an informational webinar on Friday, March 13 from 2–3 p.mRegister today.

  • Pathways Awards (up to $75,000) for pilot research projects that are collecting preliminary data to support longer-term research and partnership goals:

    • Open March 2, 2020; Applications Due April 13, 2020

  • Community-University Partnership Seed (CUPS) Award (up to $5,000) to support new and strengthen existing research partnerships and projects.

    • Open March 2, 2020; Applications accepted on a rolling basis

We will be giving a brief overview of each award, it's application and eligibility requirements, and share examples of previously funded projects.

This webinar is free and open to anyone interested in applying for these awards.

Please note: CUPS and Pathways-Community Based Participatory Research Approach awards require both an academic partner who is faculty in a U-M school/department and a community partner representing a non-academic community organization (E.g. non-profit, faith-based, government).
