Elliot Tapper earned his medical degree at Emory in 2009, and completed his residency and fellowship in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology at BIDMC in 2016. His research focuses on outcomes in patients with cirrhosis, with particular interest in hepatic encephalopathy. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine.
