Allen Lee earned his MD at New York Medical College, completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan, fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Tufts Medical Center, and GI motility fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is currently a clinical lecturer in the Division of Gastroenterology and Department of Internal Medicine through the School of Medicine. Allen is interested in studying whether we can phenotype patients with irritable bowel syndrome more carefully using their gut bacteria and whether this may provide prognostic information in this condition.
