Carol is a mixed methods social science researcher with a PhD in social welfare and a master’s degree in social work. Carol recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the U-M School of Information where she examined the impact of social media on mental health in teens with the goal of informing the design of mobile health adaptive interventions. Carol has more than 15 years of experience designing and executing health and human-computer interaction research projects and building cross-disciplinary partnerships with researchers, community members, government agencies and industry.
