Ashley brings to MICHR a decade of experience in health research, holding a master’s in ‘Research Methodology’ from Oxford University, a PhD in ‘Psychiatric Epidemiology’ from King’s College London, and independent-investigator experience – most recently, as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Michigan Medicine. Across these roles, Ashley has published more than twenty peer-reviewed manuscripts, crafted book chapters, and written successful grants to secure personal research funding from the Brain and Behavior Foundation, International OCD Foundation, and National Institutes of Health. She has joined MICHR to take up a unique role in the emerging IDEAL-CTS team, focusing on the scientific writing and technical storytelling that has long been the invigorating core of her research work.
