What is this service?
The Research Basics workshop series is designed to present basic, introductory-level material covering concepts in clinical or health research.
Research Basics is currently an in-person three-part series but beginning September 2018, Research Basics will be moving partially online. The new online portions of this training will soon be freely available, anytime, anywhere with internet access. The Fundamentals of Data Management and Best Practices for Clinical Research: GCP and Essential Documents will be made available online in the coming months, while Conducting and Obtaining Valid Informed Consent will continue as an in-person session to be offered periodically.
Who can use this service?
It is open to all study team members who are new to clinical or health research at U-M or new to any of the topics.
When should I contact MICHR about this service?
Starting in September 2018, the online modules will become available in My LINC using your Level 1 password. The remaining in person sessions will be offered several times a year. Watch the MICHR Events page for details.
How much does this event cost?
This training is free. The cost pricing/recharge rates for other MICHR services are available here.
