What is this service?
Traditional Seed Grants are small awards (up to $5K) that have flexibility in allowable expenses and will support any aspect of promising and innovative clinical and translational research. Funds can be used for a new stand-alone research project or to enhance an existing project.
NIH will not provide prior approval for MICHR pilot grants that propose research being conducted outside of the United States. Due to this policy, we cannot accept applications proposing research that will be conducted abroad.
