CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Patient Partner Academy (PPA) Fellow Position

The Patient Partner Academy (PPA) within the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR) at the University of Michigan (UM) is announcing a call for applications for this year’s PPA Fellow. The PPA Fellowship is open to UM faculty of any rank and any track, or physicians and other doctorally-trained clinical providers with primary appointments at U-M Health Affiliate Institutions.  The Fellowship provides 15% effort of base salary and benefits up to the applicable NIH cap for 1 year (July 2024 - June 2025).

The Network Based Research Unit (NBRU) within the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR) at the University of Michigan (U-M) is announcing a call for applications for the 2024 - 2025 NBRU Fellow. The NBRU Fellowship is open to U-M faculty of any rank and any track and provides 15% effort of base salary and benefits up to the applicable NIH cap for 1 year (7/1/24 – 6/30/25).

MICHR has funded five community-engaged research partnerships and projects totaling $45,000. These projects are supported by the Building Capacity for Research and Action funding opportunity. MICHR partnered with Community-Based Organization Partners (CBOP) to create this opportunity, intended to address health consequences stemming from the Flint water crisis.
