Research Basics: Conducting and Obtaining Valid Informed Consent

The Research Basics workshop series is designed to present basic, introductory-level material covering concepts in clinical or health research. It is open to all study team members who are new to clinical or health research at U-M or new to any of the topics listed below.

In September 2018, Research Basics: The Fundamentals of Data Management will be available online, while the other two sessions will remain in-person. There is no registration required for the Data Management session, which will be available in September (date to be determined), in My LINC.

Topics include:

  • Fundamentals of Data Management (Online TBD September)
  • Essential Documents and Good Clinical Practice (September 10)
  • Conducting and Obtaining Valid Informed Consent (September 17)
